Missing CRUs or FRUs
Symptom
Customer-replaceable units (CRUs) such as batteries and fans and
field-replaceable units (FRUs) such as ServerNet/FX adapters do not
appear in the OSM or TSM Low-Level Link views.

Problem
Service processors (SPs) are failing to report the existence of the CRU or
FRU, or something is wrong with the CRU or FRU itself.
Fix
1 Use the OSM or TSM Low-Level Link to perform a Reset action
on both SPs in the enclosure that exhibits the error. See OSM or
TSM online help for instructions.
Caution: Do not reset both service processors in one
enclosure at the same time. First reset one service processor in
the enclosure, and then make sure that service processor is
accessible through the OSM or the TSM applications and is
operating normally. Only then should you reset the other service
processor in the enclosure.
2 Use the OSM or TSM Low-Level Link to rediscover affected
components. Log off of the OSM or TSM Low-Level Link
Application, log back on, and then perform the System Discovery
action.
3 If the missing CRU or FRU still does not appear after resetting
both SPs, the CRU or FRU itself might have a problem.
