RESET command.

configured improperly.
Use SCF (or
SYSGENR) to
reconfigure the
device properly.
STOPPED HARDDOWN The device was put
into the HARDDOWN
substate by the SCF
ABORT command or
a hardware error.
Issue the SCF
RESET command.
STOPPED PREMATURE-TAKEOVER The backup I/O
process was asked to
take over for the
primary I/O process
before it had the
proper information.
Issue the RESET,
FORCED
command followed
by the START
command. If this
fails, reload the
processors to
restart the I/O
processes.
STOPPED RESOURCE-UNAVAILABLE The I/O process could
not get the necessary
resource.
Issue the RESET,
FORCED
command followed
by the START
command.
STOPPED UNKNOWN-REASON The I/O process is
down for an unknown
reason.
Issue the RESET,

by the START
command.
