ServerNet/DA Troubleshooting Prerequisites

Before troubleshooting a ServerNet/DA, verify all the following:

1 For TSM: verify $ZTSM (the TSM process) is running.

For OSM: verify $ZOSM and $ZCMOM are running.

2 $ZZSTO (storage subsystem manager process) is running. If $ZZSTO is not

running, storage subsystem configuration and initialization might not behave

properly.

3 The disk processes for the associated disks are started.

4 If you will be testing a ServerNet/DA, at least one disk is configured through any

PIC on that ServerNet/DA.

5 If you will be testing a PIC, at least one disk is configured through that PIC.
