Windows Are Empty (OSM or TSM Client 7.0
and Later)
Symptom
Startup Event Stream (#CNSL) and Startup TACL (#CLCI) windows are
blank.
Version
All versions of the OSM client; All TSM client versions 7.0 and later.
Problem
The system console has not been authorized to receive startup event
stream or startup TACL windows.
Fix
If the system console has not been authorized to receive startup windows:
OSM and TSM Client Software Versions 7.0 and Later:●
Log on to the Low-Level Link Application.1.
Click File>Start-up Window Access to open the Startup Windows
dialog box.

Click the upper Add button in the Startup Windows dialog box to
Authorize Workstations to Display the Startup TACL Prompt. The Add
Startup Workstation dialog box appears.

Type the IP address or subnet of the workstation.4.
Click OK to close the Add Startup Workstation dialog box.5.
Click the lower Add button in the Startup Windows dialog box to Authorize
Workstations to Receive Startup Events and Messages. The Add Startup
Workstation dialog box appears.
6.
Enter the IP address or subnet of the workstation.7.
Click OK to close the Add Startup Workstation dialog box.8.
Click OK to close the Startup Windows dialog box.9.
Note: For earlier versions of the TSM client, contact your service provider.
