Verifying a SLSA Adapter
You can use OSM Service Connection or the TSM Service Application to perform various
tests on SLSA adapters. The SLSA adapter tests are:
Responsive Test (in OSM) or SAC Responsive Test (in TSM) This online test
action is provided for SACs on E4SA, CCSA, FESA, GESA, and TRSA CRUs and for
the ATM3SA CRU. It verifies the integration of the SAC with the SLSA subsystem and
verifies that the SAC is owned and is accessible.

Responsive Test (in OSM) or Ethernet Line Responsive Test (in TSM). This online
test action is provided for the SACs for Ethernet ports in PMF CRUs. (You can test
the SAC for the Ethernet port in a PMF CRU in group 1 only.) It verifies the
integration of the SAC with the SLSA subsystem and verifies that the SAC is owned
and is accessible.

Test Verify. This test action is provided for:●
SACs on CCSA, E4SA, FESA, GESA, and TRSA CRUs. This test action
executes a power-on self-test (POST) for the selected SAC. You must
stop the SAC you are testing and shut down any active communications
lines using the SAC before you can execute this Test Verify test action.

ATM3SA CRUs. This test action executes a power-on self-test (POST).
You must stop the SAC on the adapter you are testing and shut down any
active communications lines using the SAC before you can execute this
Test Verify test action. For more information, see Preparing a SAC for the

CCSA CRUs. This online test action verifies whether the ASIC on the
CCSA CRU is functioning correctly.
