Recovering From a SWAN Concentrator Alarm
Note: The following instructions are applicable to the OSM package and to the G06.02
and later product versions of the TSM package.
This page explains how to recover from a ServerNet wide area network (SWAN)
concentrator alarm displayed by the OSM Service Connection or the TSM Service
Application.
Note: Beginning with the G06.03 RVU, SWAN concentrator alarms are cleared
automatically. In pre-G06.03 RVUs, SWAN concentrator alarms must be cleared manually.

This alarm is generated when there is a problem downloading a data link control (DLC) task
to a communications line interface processor (CLIP) on the SWAN concentrator. Possible
causes of this alarm include:
A problem with the DLC task object code file (specified by the PROGRAM attribute).●
A problem with the ConMgr process, the WAN manager process, or the TFTP server
process. These processes work together to download a DLC task to a CLIP.

A problem with the software or hardware connection between the SWAN concentrator
and the NonStop S-series server.
