Troubleshooting the SWAN Concentrator and WAN Subsystem

4 Verify that the E4SAs or FESAs to which the SWAN concentrator is connected are
operational.
Use the SCF STATUS ADAPTER command to verify that the ADAPTER object for
each E4SA or FESA is in the STARTED state:
a.
STATUS ADAPTER $ZZLAN.<adapter>
The example shows the output of the SCF STATUS ADAPTER command.
Use the SCF STATUS SAC command to verify that the ServerNet addressable
controllers (SACs) for each E4SA or FESA are in the STARTED state:
STATUS SAC $ZZLAN.<adapter>.*
The example shows the output of the SCF STATUS SAC command for an E4SA.
Use the SCF STATUS PIF command to verify that the physical interfaces (PIFs) used
by the SWAN concentrator on each E4SA or FESA are in the STARTED state:
b.
STATUS PIF $ZZLAN.<pif-name>
The example shows the output of the SCF STATUS PIF command.
Use the SCF STATUS LIF command to verify that the logical interfaces (LIFs) used by
the SWAN concentrator on each E4SA or FESA are in the STARTED state and that
the access state is UP:
c.
STATUS LIF $ZZLAN.<lif-name>
The example shows the output of the SCF STATUS LIF command.
