Troubleshooting the SWAN Concentrator and WAN Subsystem

If a CLIP fails to respond, reset (reboot) it by power-cycling the SWAN concentrator.
For the SWAN 2 concentrator, use the Test Verify test action: this test action runs a
power-on self-test (POST). Power-cycling the SWAN concentrator will affect all
CLIPs and Lines on the concentrator.

How To Execute a Test Action
Note: The following instructions are applicable to the OSM package and to the G06.02
and later product versions of the TSM package.
To execute a test action for a selected SWAN concentrator, start the OSM Service
Connection or the TSM Service Application and do the following:
1 Select the CLIP you want to test.
2 From the Display menu, choose Actions.
3 Select the test action you want to perform.
4 Click Perform Action.
The Action Status for box displays the current status of the action.
