Troubleshooting the SWAN Concentrator and WAN Subsystem
Error ID 1000022
This error is returned when you try to execute the Test Verify action and the CLIP is not in
STOPPED state. To recover from this error, stop the CLIP and retry the test action. For
more information, see Preparing a SWAN CLIP for the Test Verify Test Action or Firmware
Update.
Error ID 1000023
This error is returned if there is a problem with the ServerNet adapters to which the SWAN
concentrator is connected. It is also returned if there is a problem with the preferred and/or
alternate NonStop TCP/IP processes that support the SWAN concentrator or if the SWAN
concentrator is configured incorrectly.
To recover from this error, do the following:
1 Perform the recovery steps described for Error ID 1000020.
2 Verify that the SWAN concentrator is configured correctly and correct any SWAN
concentrator configuration errors.
3 Retry the test action.
Error ID 4002009
This error is returned when the specified firmware object code file does not exist. To
recover from this error, make sure that the required firmware object code file exists and
then retry the Firmware Update action.
Error ID 4002010
This error is returned when the VPROC for the specified firmware object code file could not
be obtained. To recover from this error, make sure that the correct firmware object code file
is specified and then retry the Firmware Update action.
Error ID 4002013
This error is returned if the firmware object code file attribute (KERNELCODE) for the
SWAN concentrator is not configured. To recover from this error, you must alter the
KERNELCODE attribute and then retry the Firmware Update action. To alter the firmware
object code file attribute for a SWAN concentrator, do the following:
1 Quiesce active customer applications that use the communications lines configured
for the SWAN concentrator.
