Installation
This document gives installation information for the HP Fabric Clustering System Host Channel Adapter
(HCA) for InfiniBand, AB345C PCI-X 133Mhz adapter with 2 (two) 4X copper interfaces.
The AB345C product is for use in database clusters and includes features specifically required to support and
integrate with the Oracle 10gRAC database. The AB345C can be installed only in supported Integrity servers.

Before installing the HP Fabric Clustering System, ensure that the following hardware and software
prerequisites are met:
• HP requires all systems in the fabric to use both the same HP-UX OS software version, and the same
HP-UX Fabric Clustering System for InfiniBand software version, such as version B.11.23.05.
• HP requires all systems in the fabric to use the same bundle, IB4X-01.
• HP requires all switches in the fabric to use the same firmware image version such as:
