System Power Specifications
Tables 1-4 lists the AC power requirements for the server. These tables provide information to help determine
the amount of AC power needed for your computer room.
Table 2-4 System Power Specifications
Specification Value
Nominal input voltage 100-127 VAC and 200-240 VAC
Minimum Operating Voltage 90 Vrms (120), 180 Vrms (220)
Maximum Operating Voltage 324 VAC
Frequency range (minimum -
maximum)
50-60 Hz
Number of phases 1 (120) or 2 (240)
Maximum input current 5.5A (120) and 2.75A (240)
Maximum inrush current must not exceed 30A at 0.1ms after application of power
Dropout carry through time at
minimum line voltage
20 ms
Power factor correction > 0.98 at maximum load (120VAC)
> 0.92 at maximum load (240VAC)

Maximum configuration
a
a. Maximum power is the sum of the worst case power consumption values of every subsystem in your
hp Integrity rx1600 Server. These worst case values should be used to calculate the worst case
power consumption for your facility installation.

Typical configuration
b
b. Typical power consumption values were measured while running power intensive applications.
These values are generally lower than maximum power numbers because all the subsystems in
your HP Server rarely draw maximum power simultaneously and for long durations.
