1. Ensure there is a working power
supply. The LED on the supply
should be lit.
2. Verify that standby voltage is
present. Check that the STBY LED
on the system board is lit.
3. Verify that the baseboard
management controller is
functioning. Check the heartbeat
(BMC) LED on the system board is
lit.
4. Check system event log (SEL).
Look for event log detail = Low
Voltage DC power. This indicates
a failure of one of the CPU power
pods. The failing CPU power pod
is indicated in the Source ID field.
