Available EFI Utilities
EFI shell utilities specific to the NetRAID-2M are included in the HP Smart Setup DVD
under \efi\io_cards\netraid directory and may be executed from the EFI Shell command line.
The utilities are:
HPCTRM.efi. This is a menu-based RAID Configuration utility. Most of the
functionality and "look-and-feel" is the same as the <Ctrl>-<M> NetRAID Express Tools
utility for IA-32 systems. For an Intel Itanium Processor Family HP server, the NetRAID
Express Tools can be invoked by entering the command
hpctrm at the EFI Shell
command line. Upon entering the utility, the first screen indicates the navigation keys
definition. Press the Enter key to get into the main screen. For more details about using
the NetRAID Express Tools, refer to the HP NetRAID-2M Installation and Configuration
Guide. This program may also be launched from the EFI-Based Setup Utility located on
the HP Smart Setup DVD. From the main menu, click Configure I/O Cards, and then
click NetRAID-2M.
HPMRC.efi. This is a command line RAID configuration utility. Use of the command
line tools is suggested for experienced users. Help on the command line arguments can be
obtained by entering the command
hpmrc ? in the EFI shell command line.
HPMFLASH.efi. This utility is for updating the firmware code on the HP NetRAID-2M
card. You can either specify the specific .ROM file as an argument for the
hpmflash
command, or the utility will by default check all available valid .ROM files in the current
directory and give you an option to select one. Refer to the information in the Intel
Itanium Processor Family HP Server and HP NetRAID-2M Support Matrix table, above,
for more details on version requirements. This program may also be launched clicking
