This controller supports rope expander chips that sits on one or more of the ZX1 I/O and

memory controller’s ropes, which are in a double-wide conﬁguration. The ZX1 I/O and

memory controller chip controls two sets of four ropes that can be conﬁgured as either

single-wide, double-wide or quad-wide. The bandwidth that is supplied by the host rope

is shared by the four guest ropes.
