2. Install the driver:
a. Copy the .tar.gz file to the servers on which you will deploy the updated driver.
b. Enter the following c om ma nd:
tar zxvf hp-lpfc-yyyy-mm-dd.tar.gz
Entering this command extracts the files in the driver kit and copies them to the hp-lpfc
directory.
c. Change directory to the hp-lpfc directory.
d. Enter the following c om ma nd:
/.INSTALL
3. Reload the driver or reboot the system.
