Operating temperature and humidity ranges may vary depending on the installed mass storage devices. High humidity levels can cause improper disk operation. Low humidity levels can aggravate static electricity problems and cause excessive wear of the disk surface. Temperature, humidity, and sound power levels are provided in Table 1-5 while minimum, maximum, and typical configurations are in Table 1-6 (page 15) and Table 1-7 (page 16).
