SP2 on HP Integrity servers and to obtain the system firmware, drivers, and utilities applicable to
Windows Server 2008 SP2.

Technical documentation for HP Integrity servers running Windows Server 2008 SP2 includes the

Overview Introduces the Windows Server® 2008 SP2 and Windows
Server® 2008 R2 on HP Integrity servers products and
describes the structure of the documentation. In addition, it
provides recommended reading paths through the
documentation.
Installation Guide Provides instructions for installing, reinstalling, or migrating
to Windows Server 2008 SP2 on HP Integrity servers.
Also includes headless installation information and
instructions for creating, configuring, and managing
nPartitions on cell-based HP Integrity servers.
Boot from SAN Guide Provides instructions for booting your server from a storage
area network (SAN) instead of internal SCSI and IDE storage
devices. Booting from an external SAN decreases downtime
through faster server replacement in the event of a server
failure.
HP Smart Update Manager (HP SUM)
User Guide
Provides information for deploying Integrity Support Pack
(ISP) software components from a single, easy-to-use
interface. The utility also provides installation logic and
version control that automatically check for dependencies,
installing only the correct updates for optimal configuration.

Get Windows-specific firmware, drivers, and utilities
To obtain the system firmware, drivers, and utilities applicable to Windows Server 2008 SP2:
1. Go to http://www.hp.com/.
2. Click SUPPORT & DRIVERS.
3. On the Support & Drivers page, select Download drivers and software (and firmware) and
enter your server model name or number in the search field. Click Begin Search.
4. On the Product Search Results page, refine your search further by clicking your exact server
description from the list presented.
5. In the Download Drivers and Software page, select Microsoft Windows Server 2008 Itanium
as your operating system.
