HP Integrity rx2800 i2 - HP-UX Errata: Additional HP-UX 11i v3 (B.11.31) drivers, products, and patches

Introduction
HP requires the installation of the HP-UX 11i v3 OE Update Release for September 2010 and the
additional components from this Errata document for the initial HP-UX support of these new HP Integrity
server models. The new HP Integrity rx2800 i2 systems cannot be supported on OE Update releases
before September 2010. Please download the additional components from the HP Software Depot
site: http://software.hp.com and the IT Resource Center: http://itrc.hp.com.

and issues.
Instructions for Download and Installation of Required HP-UX
Components
Install the desired Operating Environment (OE) from the September 2010 release to the new HP
rx2800 i2 server. Then, download and install the additional HP-UX components for your server.

The “rx2800-i2” depot includes the following software (Server
will reboot after install.)
This one depot includes the required HP-UX patches and Diagnostics for the HP Integrity rx2800 i2
server.
• PHKL_41227: 11.31 clock cumulative patch (required for HPVM hosts on rx2800 i2)
• PHKL_41301: 11.31 PCI cumulative patch (handles new IO errors for PCI Error Recovery)
• PHKL_41302: 11.31 PCIe ER, and virtualization support (provides FRU information for IO errors)
• PHNE_41158: 11.31 Cumulative Console and BSD Pty Patch
• PCIe 10 Gigabit Ethernet — 10GigEthr-02 revision=B.11.31.1009.01
• Direct Attached Storage Provider — DASProvider (WBEMP-Storage) revision=B.11.31.1009.01
• Diagnostic and Support Tools — OnlineDiag revision=B.11.31.11.04
• System Fault Management — SysFaultMgmt revision=C.07.02.01.02
The SysFaultMgmt, WBEMP-Storage, and OnlineDiag bundles are also included in the
Diagnostics Products Collection for the HP-UX 11i v3 Systems. These bundles are always installed
