a. Copy the .tar.gz file to the servers on which you will deploy the updated driver.
b. Enter the following command:
tar zxvf hp-lpfc-yyy-mm-dd.tar.gz
The command unpacks the files in the driver kit to the hp-lpfc directory.
c. Change to the hp-lpfc directory.
d. Enter the following command:
/.INSTALL
3. Reload the driver or reboot the system.
