15. At the EFI Shell prompt, enter the following command:
Shell> reset
The system starts to reboot. This is required to enable the new SCSI setting.
Using the Boot Option Maintenance Menu
This menu enables you to select console output and input devices as well as various boot options.
It contains the following options:
“Boot From a File” (page 320)
Add a Boot Option” (page 321)
“Delete Boot Option(s)” (page 322)
“Change Boot Order” (page 322)
“Manage BootNext Setting” (page 323)
“Set Auto Boot TimeOut” (page 323)
“Select Active Console Output Devices” (page 323)
“Select Active Console Input Devices” (page 324)
“Select Active Standard Error Devices” (page 325)
“Security/Password Menu” (page 325)
“Resetting Passwords” (page 325)
These options are described in the following sections.
The following selections are available on all menus:
Help: Displays the help available for the command.
Exit: Returns to the main Boot Options Maintenance menu.
Enter: Selects an item after using the arrow keys to highlight the item.
Save Settings to NVRAM: Saves your changes.
NOTE: The options shown here are examples. Your system may have different options available
based on the system configuration and installed hardware components.

All devices in the server are represented by paths in the EFI Shell. To identify the correct socket or
disk drive, use the following tables.
