Synopsis
hpsetacpi [/e | -e | --error filename] [[ /v | -v | --version ] | [ /? | -h | --help ]
| [/d | -d] | [/a | -a] | mode]
Description
The hpsetacpi tool sets the ACPI mode to Windows or Linux, according to command line
parameter informed.
Options
mode
The new ACPI configuration mode. Available choices are
windows, longhorn, linux, single-pci-domain, or
default.
/e | -e | --error filename
Sets the error log file name. By default, the file name is
ERRORLOG.TXT.
/? | -h | --help
Displays the usage information.
/v | -v | --version
Displays the tool's version number.
/d | -d
Displays debug information.
/a | -a
Detects the production operating system and sets the ACPI
mode for it.
Example
C:\sstk_repository\utilities>hpsetacpi.exe
ACPI Mode: Windows
