Replacing the Removable Media Drive
NOTE: If applicable, install the bottom drive before installing the top drive.
1. Attach the rails and clips to the drive.
2. Connect the cables to the rear of the drive.
3. Position the drive in the chassis.
4. Turn the power on to the server.
5. Verify operation of the drive. Enter the SEArch or INFO command at the EFI Shell to ensure
that the system recognizes the drive.
Removing and Replacing a PCI Card
The PCI cards are located in the rear of the chassis in the PCI card cage (Figure 86). PCI cards
are hot-plug components. See “Hot-Plug CRUs” (page 133) for a list and description of hot-plug
CRUs.
