HP Release sets for HP Superdome 2 servers
HP Release Sets for HP Integrity Superdome 2 servers are supported firmware combinations for the server and
selected server components. Integrity Superdome 2 system firmware update is now supported by the HP
firmware installation tool HP SUM. Firmware update for selected additional servers or components may be
supported via other tools. To find the appropriate installation tools for all Integrity servers, see HP Integrity and
HP 9000 Servers – HP Firmware Update Options (PDF 307 KB).

Note: HP SUM bundles are run from networked Microsoft Windows or Linux client workstations and are used to
update Integrity platforms running all supported Integrity operating systems including HP-UX. For example, to
update a Superdome 2 server running HP-UX 11iv3 from a Linux networked workstation, choose the HP SUM
Linux bundle.
