HP-UX Errata for HP Integrity Superdome 2 (Superdome 2 CB900s i2 or i4 Server Blade model) Additional HP-UX 11i v3 (B.11.31) drivers, products, and patches

• For optimal performance of PCIe OL* functionality, HP strongly recommends customers also install the
following patch for HPUX 11i v3 September 2011 update, HPUX 11i v3 March 2012 update or HPUX
11i v3 September 2012 update:
◦ PHCO_42997 1.0 olrad(1M) cumulative patch
• While not directly related to PCIe OLRAD functionality, HP recommends customers ensure the following
list of additional patches are on their HP-UX 11i v3 September 2011 update and March 2012 update
systems for optimal performance and stability of OLRAD functionality:
◦ PHKL_41942 (enable CPU OL*) - Should be included with HP-UX 11i v3 September 2011 cold
install.
◦ PHCO_42306 (enhancement for machinfo).
• For HP-UX 11iv3 March 2012 update or HPUX 11i v3 September 2012 update, no additional patches
are required.
Additional Recommendation for the system with greater than 128 core in single
nPar
• HP recommends installation of the VfsShwrsplEnh bundle if a nPar or stand alone system has more than
128 processing units and where the work load frequently involves translating a pathname to vnode
such as open, stat, find etc:
