UPDATE SHOW
• Command:
UPDATE SHOW { ALL | BLADE [ ALL | <location> [ { , | - } <location>
] ] | CONFIG | FAN [ ALL | <location> [ { , | - } <location> ] ] |
FIRMWARE | ICBAY [ ALL | <location> [ { , | - } <location> ] ] |
LCD | NPARTITION { nPartition name or number | ALL } | TRAY }
• Description:
This command will display the firmware version installed on the following FRUs in the enclosure
on which the command is run:
◦ Non-Superdome-blade devices in device bays
◦ Interconnect modules
◦ Fans
◦ Trays (PIC on OA tray)
◦ PIC on GPSM boards
◦ LCDs
The firmware version of the following FRUs will not be displayed using the update show
command.
◦ Superdome 2 blades
◦ XFM
◦ IOX
◦ OA
◦ GPSM
• Access level/Bay level:
Any
• Restrictions:
This command must be run on the enclosure containing the component.
• Example:
