Version: 1.20 Description These release notes discuss issues and their potential workarounds, and important information regarding HP Intelligent Provisioning. Intelligent Provisioning is one of the embedded management features of the HP iLO Management Engine, and is a single-server deployment tool embedded in all HP ProLiant Gen8 servers. Intelligent Provisioning supplies most drivers required for your operating system.
Prerequisites • Hardware, firmware, and software requirements for this release are listed in the HP Intelligent Provisioning Server Support Guide. • Installation and upgrade prerequisites are documented in the HP Intelligent Provisioning User Guide. NOTE: Intelligent Provisioning does not support connecting to an FTP server through a proxy.

Suggested action: Reboot the server.
User interface issues • After disabling the System Software Update option on the Intelligent Provisioning Preferences page and then visiting the home page, Update before OS install is selected as the default System Software Update option when following the Install and Configure path. Suggested action: Select the Skip Update option even though it is already disabled in the preferences.
Server 2008 SP2 x64bit Hyper V, Enterprise x64 Edition Core, and Windows Server 2008 SP2 x64bit Hyper V, Standard x64 Edition Core. Suggested action: After installing Windows Datacenter Core editions, log into the Administrator account with a blank password. In this mode, you will see only a command line (cmd) page. • The Windows Small Business Server 2011 (base) operating image is too large for a FAT32 format USB flash drive.
