Fixes
Version 11.5
In a management group with storage systems running mixed versions of LeftHand OS, there was
a problem where logging in with Active Directory user credentials would work on some storage
systems but not on the others. This issue is resolved after upgrading all the storage systems to
LeftHand OS Version 11.5.
The LeftHand OS has been updated to version 7.2.2 of the Systems Management Homepage
(SMH) to fix several security issues. For more information, see http://h20564.www2.hp.com/
portal/site/hpsc/public/kb/docDisplay/?docId= c03895050.
This patch enables a 10 TB to 50 TB VSA 2014 upgrade license to be installed on a version prior
to StoreVirtual VSA 2014 (also available as patch 40010).
Fixed an issue where VMware 4.1 and 5.x hosts show multiple dead paths with non–0 LUN
numbers.
Improvements have been made to the auto-rebalancing of iSCSI sessions for enhanced stability
and to maintain volume availability during upgrade operations.
Network statistics for 10 GbE interfaces are now correctly represented in the Performance Monitor.
Fixed connection issues that occurred occasionally on storage systems, which prevented the CMC
from discovering or logging in to the system. (Also available as patch 40001).
After a site in a Multi-Site configuration goes down and comes back up, the auto-rebalancing of
iSCSI sessions correctly honors site designation of servers and storage systems.
Added improvements to prevent a rare scenario where I/O may get interrupted if a volume
becomes unavailable while rebooting a single storage system in a cluster and the management
group is using the HP DSM for MPIO.
In management groups with large number of volumes or active iSCSI sessions, improvements were
added to the upgrade process so that iSCSI sessions are successfully reconnected during the
upgrade.
Improved the error message displayed in the CMC if the Upgrades.xml manifest is invalid when
using local media to upgrade. The improved error message includes instructions for the user to
correct the situation.
Added improvements to the LeftHand OS manager so that if unusual networking problems cause
the quorum monitor to remove a manager from the management group for 10 minutes at a time,
the manager process shuts itself down properly and volume connections to that manager are
safely moved to a different manager.
After making a remote copy of a remote copy, the CLI now correctly lists the same primary snapshot
that is listed in the CMC.
