Provisioning to an external cloud in Matrix infrastructure

The following sections describe how to create a template and create a service to deploy to the HPCS or EC2 cloud.

Launch infrastructure orchestration Designer

To access HP Matrix infrastructure orchestration Designer using a browser, navigate to https://<cms-ip-

address>:51443/hpio/designer/ and log in. (Clicking New or Edit on the Templates tab in the infrastructure

orchestration console also launches the Designer.)

Create a template

Perform the following steps to create a cloud server template.

1. Drag one or more Virtual Server Group (which includes a Virtual Storage icon) and Network icons to the

components frame, and connect the Network component to the server group.
