Appendix 1: Obtaining a depot for Auto Deploy
The software depot used to provision clusters is a combination of VMware executables and HP value-added
management code. Using the HP code enables the ESXi server to operate correctly and be managed on HP devices.
An Auto Deploy Depot is a zip file that is used to provision an Auto Deploy ESXi 5.x server onto the desired
hardware. As of 2012, the most recent release and all future releases of the HP Custom ISOs and their
corresponding depot.zip file are published at the following URL:
