Upgrading Logical Servers from HP Insight Dynamics - VSE for ProLiant Version 4.0 to 4.1

LSMUTIL Database Utility
ID-VSE includes LSMUTIL, which can be invoked from the command prompt. This new utility
allows you to quickly and easily create a consolidated list for much of the information found in
the logical servers graphical user interface.

The LSM Utility also allows for some basic database func
tionality, allowing you to delete the
logical server database or to create a new clean copy of the database. The LSM utility can
also be used to quickly and easily check the version of the installation.
Synchronize Changed to Refresh
Another noticeable change for administrators is the logical servers Synchronize screen has
been renamed to Refresh. The functionality is more efficient, but is functionally equivalent.
In addition, many of the job status messages have been revamped to better reflect the status
changes of the logical servers, and the timestamps have been changed to be reflect the local
time zone.
