7. Click the LAN Settings button.
8. Under Proxy server, click Use a proxy server, and enter the Fully Qualified Domain Name of your proxy
in the Address field. Normally you do not change the Port field.
9. Click OK.
To configure Windows Media Player 7 to use a proxy for MMS:
This configuration can be performed successfully from within Windows Media Player.
1. In Windows Media Player’s Tools menu, choose Options…
