• HP MCS condensate and overflow hoses do not require insulation.

• Filters may require a minimum of 30 inches (762 mm) clearance under the floor for installation. If

the filters cannot be installed under the floor due to space constraints, they may be placed

upstream of the piping system.

A pre-installed quick release coupling is provided on each of the cabinet inlet and outlet hoses. The

mating coupling will need to be installed to each of the chilled water and return lines. Once the

water hook-up kit is installed on the water lines at your facility prior to arrival of the MCS, please

cover them with the protective caps to reduce the chance of debris contaminating the supply piping

system and to prevent thread damage.

CAUTION:

It is important that the water supply system feeding the HP MCS

is capable of withstanding the following situations:

-- Deadheading (operating with a closed line)

-- Operation with rapid and frequent changes in flow

requirements

-- Operation over long periods of time with zero water flow.

NOTE:

The HP Water Hook-Up Kit (P/N AF079A) is required and should be

ordered for each HP MCS to be installed.
