Mailslots

The library has one or two mailslot

locations:

• A three-slot mailslot in the lower-left

magazine (MSL8048 and

MSL8096).

• A 12-slot mailslot in the upper-right

magazine (MSL8096 only).

In the MSL8096, each mailslot can be enabled or

disabled independently, providing options for 0, 3,

12, or 15 slots.

When the lower-left mailslot is enabled (3 total

mailslots), the numbers for all of the storage slots are

adjusted.

TIP: To see the slot numbering for your library

in its current configuration, see the RMI's Status

> Inventory screen.

On the MSL8096, when only the upper-right mailslot

is enabled (12 total mailslots), the numbering of the

storage slots in the other magazines not affected.

When both mailslots are enabled (15 total mailslots),

the numbers for the storage slots and upper-right

mailslot slots are adjusted.
