Enhancements
Enhancements implemented between 6.0 0 and 6.50:
• Support added for Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6).
• Support a dded for partitioning the Library into logical libraries. The Tape Library can have up to
as many logical libraries are there are tape drives.
• Support added for the 1/8 G2 a nd MSL Encryption Kit, which is a solution for generating and
storing encryption keys to write and restore encrypted data on LTO-4 media with LTO-4 tape drives.
• Support added for the Ultrium 1760 parallel SCSI half-height tape drive.
• Support added for SNMP version 2.
• Added the ability to save and restore the Library configuration settings to a USB flash drive (from
the OCP) or a file (from the RMI).

to operate in the same manner as earlier firmware releases.
