Rack rail replacement

The rack kit is an optional customer self rep air part.

HP customer self repair (CSR) programs allow you

to repair your StorageWorks product. If a CSR part

needs replacing, HP ships the part directly to you so

that you can install it at your convenience. For more

When moving the Library, to reduce the risk of personal

• Observe local health and safety requirements and

guidelines for manual material handling.

• Remove all t

apes to reduce the overall weight.

• Obtain adequate assistance to lift and stabilize the

Library du ring installation or removal.

Removing the magazines

Power down the Librar y and unplug the cables.

(1) Insert a small metal pin or straightened paper clip into

amagazin

e release hole while (2) another person grasps

the magazines from that side of the Library and pulls them

straigh

t out. Repeat to remove the magazines from the

other side.
