• Improved the prompt asking whether to use the configuration settings from the rob otics assembly
or library controller when either of these parts are replaced.
• Improved an error message in the Wellness test when an upper corner s lot is empty.
• The Library temperature is now reported on LOG SENSE page 0x0D.
• Fixed a case where the Library could not detect when the mailslot was closed very quickly.
Installation

To upgrade firm ware from the RMI:
1. Download current firmware using HP Library & Tape Tools or from the HP support website:

2. Log into the RM I as the administrator user.
3. In the Suppor t: Firmware page, browse to the location of the Librar y firmware file.

To upgrade firmware from the OCP using a USB flash drive:
1. Download current firmware using HP Library & Tape Tools or from the HP support website:

ttp://www.hp.com/support/storag e.Copythefi rmware onto the USB flash drive.
2. Insert the USB flash drive into the USB port on the back of the Library.
3. From the Suppor t m enu, select FW Upgrade > By USB.
4. Select the Library as the target for the upgrade, and select the filename of the firmwar e.
5. Click Up
grade.
6. When th
e upgrade is complete, remove the USB flash drive from the USB port.
Determining current version
To find the version of firmware installed on the Library, see the RMI Support: Firmware screen or the
OCP Info > Identity > Library option.
