Fixes
Fixed a case when a drive firmware download failed if an LTO-4 cartridge is loaded in the drive.
Corrected a case where the drive incorrectly reported to the host that a tape was stuck to the head
(error code 0x76AC).
Improved the ability to read tapes written by non-HP drives having poor write density.
Fixed a case where the drive would appear unresponsive after receiving commands formatted to
use multiple Information Units. These types of commands are supported by Linux OS drivers.
Fixed an issue that resulted in poor read transfer rate or spacing issues, which lead to reporting
errors 0x0590 or 0x5092, or occasionally errors 0x330D or 0x5084.
Improved algorithms for reading LTO-2 tapes.
Corrected issues that could allow incorrect entries in the Cartridge Memory Filemark map.
Fixed a performance issue introduced in a previous release due to read retries being invoked too
often because ASIC parameters were being set incorrectly.
Fixes an issue where space operations could fail with 0x3023 due Access Point being in wrong
position.
