• Fixed 5090/5092 errors by enabling functionality to use adjacent channel information during
Space/Locate commands.
B62W
• Fixed an issue where differences between the power on times reported in HP Library and Tape
Tools (L&TT) tickets and the drive logs could be observed.
• Fixed a case where a false Tape Alert could be reported by the drive when no tape is loaded and
an L&TT support ticket is downloaded from the library.
• Fixed a rare case when a Write attribute could cause datasets to be written beyond the End of
Wrap turnaround point.
Installation instructions
Use HP StorageWorks Library & Tape Tools (L&TT) to update the tape drive firmware. You can
download L&TT from http://www.hp.com/support/tapetools. Online help and instructions are included
with the utility.
NOTE:
Once the download as started, do NOT power off the unit or interrupt the firmware download process
until the download is complete. Doing so could leave the product in an unusable state.
Determining current version
You can check your current firmware revision from the GUI touch screen. Select Menu > View System
Data > Library Info.
