Default command level
2: System level
Parameters
gsm: Specifies the GSM network.
1xrtt: Specifies the 1xRTT network.
evdo: Specifies the EVDO network.
low: Specifies the lower threshold.
medium: Specifies the medium threshold.
lowthreshold: Lower RSSI monitoring threshold value in dBm, in the range of –150 to 0. The default is
–150 dBm.
mediumthreshold: Medium RSSI monitoring threshold value in dBm, in the range of150 to 0. The
default is 0 dBm.
Usage guidelines
In the same environment, the RSSI value varies with the signal strength:
If the RSSI value is greater than the mediumthreshold value, a trap showing strong signal strength is
sent.
If the RSSI value is no less than the mediumthreshold value and greater than the lowthreshold value,
a trap showing normal signal strength is sent.
If the RSSI value is no greater than the lowthreshold value, a trap showing weak signal strength is
sent. After that, if the RSSI value does not come above the lowthreshold value, a trap showing weak
signal strength is sent every 10 minutes.
Examples
# Set the lower RSSI monitoring threshold of the GSM network to –110 dBm.
