destination-number destination-number: Forwards matching short messages to the specified number.
The destination-number argument is a character string, which can contain plus sign (+), asterisk (*),
pound sign (#), and digits (0 to 9). The plus sign (+) can appear only at the start of the number and can
appear only once. A number can have up to 21 characters if it starts with a plus sign (+), and can have
up to 20 characters if it starts with another character. The destination number does not support fuzzy
match. You can enter multiple destination numbers separated by spaces, for example,
destination-number 13 6123 45678 1356 6 6 67 77 7.
Usage guidelines
You can configure up to 10 short message forwarding rules. The one configured earlier is matched first.
Once a match is found, the following rules are not matched.
Examples
# On interface Cellular 0/0, configure a short message forwarding rule that forwards short messages
from the number starting with 0108277 to destination numbers 13612345678 and 13566667777.
<Sysname> system-view
[Sysname] interface cellular 0/0
[Sysname-Cellular0/0] sms forward source-number 0108277t destination-number 13612345678
13566667777
sms send
Use sms send to send a short message through the 3G modem to the specified destination number.
Syntax
sms send destination-number
Views
Cellular interface view, cellular Ethernet interface view
Default command level
2: System level
Parameters
destination-number: Specifies the destination number, which can contain digits (0 to 9), plus sign (+),
asterisk (*), and pound sign (#). The plus sign (+) can appear only at the start of the number and can
appear only once. A number can have up to 21 characters if it starts with a plus sign (+), and can have
up to 20 characters if it starts with another character.
Usage guidelines
After you execute the command, enter the short message content according to the prompt. The short
message content supports only the English language, can have up to 160 characters. The short message
content must ends with a percentage sign (%), which does not belong to the short message. You can enter
a line break in the short message, which takes two characters.
This command is not supported for the SIC-4G-LTE module.
Examples
# Send short message Hello world! to 13612345678 on interface Cellular 0/0.
<Sysname> system-view
[Sysname] interface cellular 0/0
[Sysname-Cellular0/0] sms send 13612345678
Please input SMS content, and quit with the character '%'.
