link-delay
Use link-delay to set the physical state change suppression interval on an Ethernet interface.
Use undo link-delay to restore the default.
Syntax
link-delay delay-time
undo link-delay
Default
By default, an Ethernet interface detects the physical state change every 5 seconds. When a physical
state change occurs, the Ethernet interface can detect the change within 0 to 5 seconds.

Parameters
delay-time: Sets the physical state change suppression interval in seconds. This argument is 0 or uses the
default setting for Ethernet interfaces. The value 0 means not to suppress the physical state change and
enables the router to promptly detect physical state change on the Ethernet interface.
