speed
Use speed to set the speed of an Ethernet interface.
Use undo speed to restore the default.
Syntax
speed { 10 | 100 | 1000 | auto }

The default value of this command is auto.
Default command level
2: System level
Parameters
10: Sets the interface speed to 10 Mbps. This keyword is not available on fiber combo ports
100: Sets the interface speed to 100 Mbps. This keyword is not available on fiber combo ports.
1000: Sets the interface speed to 1000 Mbps. Support for this keyword depends on your interface card
model.
auto: Enables the interface to negotiate a speed with its peer.
Usage guidelines
For an Ethernet copper port, use the speed command to set its speed to match the speed of the peer
interface.
For a fiber port, use the speed command to set its speed to match the rate of a pluggable transceiver.

# Configure Ethernet 1/1 to operate at 100 Mbps.
