• In method 2, the operating
mode is framed, no channel
sets are created, and the
timeslot speed is 64 kbps.

Serial interfaces created on CT3 interfaces support PPP, HDLC, FR, LAPB, and X.25 at the data link layer,
and IP at the network layer. Configure link layer protocols, and IP addresses for the CT3 interfaces if the
network requires.
