Parameters
robust-value: Specifies an IGMP querier's robustness variable in the range of 2 to 5.
Usage guidelines
The IGMP querier's robustness variable defines the maximum number of attempts for transmitting IGMP
general queries, group-specific queries or group-and-source-specific queries in case of packet loss due to
network problems. A higher robustness variable makes the IGMP querier more robust, but results in
longer multicast group timeout time.
The IGMP querier's robustness variable determines the following values:
• The default number of general queries that the IGMPv1/v2/v3 querier sends on startup
• The number of IGMP group-specific queries that the IGMPv2 querier sends after receiving an IGMP
leave message
• The number of IGMP group-and-source-specific queries that the IGMPv3 querier sends after
receiving an IGMP report that means relation changes between IPv6 multicast groups and IPv6
multicast sources
Examples
# Set the IGMP querier's robustness variable to 3 on Ethernet 1/1.
