Configuring IPv6 MBGP route attributes
This section describes how to use IPv6 MBGP route attributes to affect IPv6 MBGP route selection. IPv6
MBGP route attributes involve the following:
• IPv6 MBGP protocol preference
• Default local preference attribute
• MED attribute
• Next hop attribute
• AS path attribute
Configuration prerequisites
Before you configure IPv6 MBGP route attributes, complete the following tasks:
• Enable IPv6.
• Configure basic IPv6 MBGP functions.
