Usage guidelines
An IS-IS PPP interface requires the sender of a hello packet must be on the same network segment as it.
Otherwise, it discards the hello packet. You can use the isis peer-ip-ignore command to disable this
restriction.
Examples
# Configure Serial2/0 not to check the peer's IP address in the received Hello packets.
<Sysname> system-view
[Sysname] interface serial 2/0
[Sysname-Serial2/0] isis peer-ip-ignore
isis silent
Use isis silent to disable the interface from sending and receiving IS-IS packets.
Use undo isis silent to restore the default.
Syntax
isis silent
undo isis silent
Default
