Parameters
group-name: Specifies the name of a peer group, a string of 1 to 47 characters.
ip-address: Specifies the IP address of a peer.
Usage guidelines
If the peer device supports 4-byte AS numbers, do not enable the suppression function. Otherwise, the
BGP peer relationship cannot be established.
Examples
# In BGP view, enable 4-byte AS number suppression for peer 160.89.2.33.

peer connect-interface (BGP/BGP-VPN instance view)
Use peer connect-interface to specify the source interface for establishing TCP connections to a peer or
peer group.
Use undo peer connect-interface to restore the default.
Syntax
peer { group-name | ip-address } connect-interface interface-type interface-number
undo peer { group-name | ip-address } connect-interface
Default
BGP uses the outbound interface of the best route to the BGP peer or peer group as the source interface
for establishing a TCP connection to the peer or peer group.
