peer next-hop-local (IPv6 address family view)
Use peer next-hop-local to configure the next hop of routes advertised to a peer or peer group as the
local router.
Use undo peer next-hop-local to restore the default.
Syntax
peer { ipv6-group-name | ipv6-address } next-hop-local
undo peer { ipv6-group-name | ipv6-address } next-hop-local
Default
The system sets the next hop of routes advertised to an EBGP peer or peer group to the local router, but
does not change the next hop for routes outgoing to an IBGP peer or peer group.

Parameters
ipv6-group-name: Specifies the name of a peer group, a string of 1 to 47 characters.
ipv6-address: Specifies the IPv6 address of a peer.
Examples
# Set the next hop of routes advertised to IBGP peer group test to the router itself.
<Sysname> system-view
[Sysname] bgp 100
[Sysname-bgp] ipv6-family
[Sysname-bgp-af-ipv6] group test internal
[Sysname-bgp-af-ipv6] peer test next-hop-local
peer password
Use peer password to configure BGP to perform MD5 authentication when a TCP connection is being
established with a peer or peer group.
Use undo peer password to restore the default.
Syntax
peer { group-name | ipv6-address } password { cipher | simple } password
undo peer { group-name | ipv6-address } password
Default
No MD5 authentication is performed for TCP connection establishment.
