BOOTP client configuration commands
BOOTP client configuration can only be used on Layer 3 Ethernet interfaces (including subinterfaces),
Layer 3 aggregate interfaces, and VLAN interfaces.
If several VLAN interfaces sharing the same MAC address obtain IP addresses through a BOOTP relay
agent, the BOOTP server cannot be a Windows 2000 Server or Windows 2003 Server.
You cannot configure an interface of an aggregation group as a BOOTP client.
display bootp client
Use display bootp client to display related information about a BOOTP client.
Syntax
display bootp client [ interface interface-type interface-number ] [ | { begin | exclude | include }

Parameters
interface interface-type interface-number: Displays the BOOTP client information of the interface.
|: Filters command output by specifying a regular expression. For more information about regular
expressions, see Fundamentals Configuration Guide.
begin: Displays the first line that matches the specified regular expression and all lines that follow.
exclude: Displays all lines that do not match the specified regular expression.
include: Displays all lines that match the specified regular expression.
regular-expression: Specifies a regular expression, a case-sensitive string of 1 to 256 characters.
Usage guidelines
If you do not specify the interface interface-type interface-number option, the command displays
information about BOOTP clients on all interfaces.
If you specify the interface interface-type interface-number option, the command displays information
about the BOOTP client on the specified interface.
Examples
# Display related information about the BOOTP client on Ethernet 1/1.
<Sysname> display bootp client interface ethernet 1/1
