Configuring multicast UDP helper
When you configure multicast UDP helper, follow these guidelines:
By default, some devices that support the directed broadcasts suppression function reject all
directional broadcast packets. Therefore, execute the ip forward-broadcast command and then you
can enable UDP helper. For more information about the directed broadcasts suppression function,
see "Configuring IP performance optimization."
You can specify up to 50 mappings between multicast addresses and subnet broadcast addresses.
You can specify an ACL for identifying UDP packets. Only packets permitted by the ACL can be
relayed.
