Configuring multicast UDP helper
When you configure multicast UDP helper, follow these guidelines:
• By default, some devices that support the directed broadcasts suppression function reject all
directional broadcast packets. Therefore, execute the ip forward-broadcast command and then you
can enable UDP helper. For more information about the directed broadcasts suppression function,
see "Configuring IP performance optimization."
• You can specify up to 50 mappings between multicast addresses and subnet broadcast addresses.
